Turkey launched its first indigenous intelligence ship TCG UFUK (A-591) on Feb.9, 2019, during a ceremony that held at Tuzla/Istanbul Shipyard. The ship will serve as a test and training ship for the new systems as well.
The ship has similar design features with ADA Class corvettes. The main difference from ADA Class Corevettes is that TCG UFUK doesn’t have any weapons.
