The oceanographic research ship Admiral Vladimirsky, the Baltic Fleet, being on long-distance mission, has completed its passage through the Strait of Gibraltar and entered the Mediterranean Sea.
In course of the mission, the crew will perform a great deal of hydrographic and hydrometerological work.

On December 15, the vessel Admiral Vladimirsky sailed from home station in Kronstadt for long-distance mission within the 2nd international expedition in the Indian Ocean under the auspices of the UNESCO’s Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission.
