Japan Navy Ship ‘Ikazuchi’ arrives at Sri Lanka’s Hambantota Port

Sri Lanka Navy, in accordance with naval traditions, welcomed the Japanese Maritime Self Defense Force (JMSDF) ship ‘Ikazuchi’ arrived at the Port of Hambantota on Tuesday (15 January) on three-day goodwill visit.
During the 3 day official visit, the ship’s crew is scheduled to visit popular tourist destinations and participate in several special events organized by the Sri Lanka Navy in a bid to enhance camaraderie between the two forces.
