Chinese 161th Task Force Source: PLA Navy

Chinese South Sea fleet is holding military exercises in the vicinity of International Date Line in Pacific.

Chinese 161st Task Force composed of Type 054A frigate Xianning (500), Type 052D destroyer Hohhot (161), Type 901 fast combat support ship Chagan Lake (967) and Type 815A electronic reconnaissances hip are attending the exercise.

China’s navy, coast guard and maritime militia are a constant presence in the region.
